POWER Chapters
POWER Lehigh Valley
POWER Lehigh Valley represents congregations and faith leaders located in Lehigh and Northampton counties.
ABOUT OUR CHAPTER
POWER Lehigh Valley’s mission is to foster healthy, inclusive, and just communities across the Lehigh Valley. We are building a multi-racial justice movement that is predicated on a clear understanding of how white supremacy operates at a systemic and individual level.
The leaders of POWER Lehigh Valley are committed to interrupting oppressive and inequitable systems that negatively impact black, Latinx, and poor communities. We aim to disrupt the status quo through effective grassroots organizing rooted in both personal and collective transformation.

POWER represents over 50 unique congregations in Southeastern and Central Pennsylvania. With four Regional Chapters, we are people of faith committed to the work of bringing about justice here and now.
POWER is independently financed. We operate with dues from member congregations, grants from charitable and faith-based foundations, grassroots fundraising, and contributions from people like you! As a matter of principle, POWER receives no financial support from government entities.
