Since early 2017, POWER has been convening faith leaders from across Lancaster, York, Lebanon and Dauphin Counties to envision a new way of carrying out faith in the public sphere, of brining people together across racial difference, and of being a moral voice on issues that impact the marginalized living in those counties. These faith leaders are forming county-based chapters, educating their members on issues of school funding and economic justice, engaging policy makers, and helping build a multi-racial, interfaith and state-wide organization that can be the voice of those left out of Harrisburg decision-making.
