A Caution Regarding Tonight’s Rally Against Antisemitism
Dear Community Members,
POWER Interfaith wants to issue a cautionary message regarding tonight’s Rally Against Antisemitism.
It has come to our attention that the rally has the potential to express views that we do not support.
While we firmly stand against antisemitism and Islamophobia in all its forms, we do not condone or stand behind polarizing views that may be expressed.
We are encouraged that State Senator Sharif Street and Congresswoman Madeleine Deane have been invited to speak at the event.
We advise the interfaith community always to exercise the utmost caution and discernment when participating in events.
POWER Interfaith remains steadfast in our commitment to free speech towards promoting dialogue, respect, understanding and ultimately justice and trust.
