Advisory – TOMORROW: BRIEFING ON VOTER AND ELECTION PROTECTION IN PENNSYLVANIA
Virtual Press Conference with Experts Offering Analysis and Expectations for PA Midterm for Press, Voters
Pennsylvania–– Tomorrow, November 1, one week ahead of the upcoming Pennsylvania midterm election, a panel of experts, voting rights advocates, and civic engagement organizers will convene for a virtual press conference to provide the latest information about the election, break down timeline expectations, dispel misinformation and highlight resources for voters and the press.
These organizations and individuals will also detail the efforts starting in 2020, and continuing since, to protect PA voters and the integrity of voter access and vote counting. Dozens of independent public interest and pro-democracy organizations have worked in coordination to continue this work since 2020 and prepare for 2022 and beyond.
Speakers from Pennsylvania Voice, Common Cause, ACLU of PA, and POWER Interfaith represent a vast statewide partnership of organizations engaged in election protection, democracy defense, and mobilization. Commonwealth Communications will moderate the discussion.
A memo to the press will be released to provide a blueprint ahead of the upcoming election. A question and answer period will follow the discussion.
