Together We Vote

POWER has officially kicked off our Together We Vote Campaign! As people of faith, we must represent a moral voice for values like good education for every child, jobs with fair pay, and racial justice.

Let’s make sure that THIS November, the voices of all faiths, races, and income levels are represented at the voting booth.

“Together We Vote” Campaign

Now that we’ve laid the foundation in registering over 1,500 voters in our region, our voter engagement work is crucial in ensuring that our neighbors “Get Out The Vote” and follow through in exercising their political power. We’re going into the streets and speaking with our neighbors about what freedom could and should look like and how to use our votes to bring us closer to that vision.

Leading up to Election Day will invite over 15,000 voters into one to one conversations about their vision for their families, local communities, and the nation as a whole through weekly phone banks and canvassing across the Greater Philadelphia area. Below you will find information for our upcoming door-to-door canvassing and phone banking events. Please contact Director of Organizing, Cecily Harwitt (charwitt@powerphiladelphia.org) for more information.

Get Out The Vote Phone Banking

In addition to door-to-door canvassing, we are holding phone banks from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM every Monday and Thursday leading up to Election Day. If you are interested in hosting or participating in a phone bank, please RSVP to receive instructions and further details.

People all over the city will be dialing into the same predictive dial phone bank, which means you will automatically be connected directly to our target voters from your phone. Unlike other times that we’ve held phone banks, you will only need a phone to participate, not a laptop or internet access. This kind of phone banking can be done from home or any location, but we encourage you to gather with others to do it. Please note that phone banking must happen during 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM as the system requires dozens of people making calls at once in order to work.
