Faith-based groups from Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs assembled outside of the Fraternal Order of Police headquarters for a peaceful protest.

The group held signs and chanted, demanding an end to police brutality in Philadelphia and across the country.

“We are here to make our voices heard, to advocate on behalf of those who are literally being murdered by the police,” protester Maria McCabe said.

Civil police officers were on hand to make sure everyone’s First Amendment rights were protected.

The FOP lodge also sent refreshments outside to the protesters.
