POWER is working to lift Philadelphians out of poverty by advocating for more living wage jobs.
POWER is committed to advocating for federal pathways to citizenship for our undocumented brothers and sisters and just, humane local immigration policies. Our work supports the PICO National Network’s Campaign for Citizenship.
POWER begins to organize its members to push for better schools for low income Philadelphians by supporting localized school support initiatives.
POWER’s Founding Convention affirmed a change platform that also recognizes housing, public safety and healthcare as key issues impacting Philadelphia neighborhoods and families.
