What’s Lurking Behind Your Schools Doors? – An Environmental Art Show

POWER joins our fellow Our City Our Schools coalition members to invite you to head to City Hall North Apron on Friday October 15 between 10-6.  Join parents, students, community members and our elected representatives at this innovative and impactful event bringing together activism and art to call on every Philadelphian to “Ring the Bell & Sound the Alarm” about the deplorable toxic and unsafe conditions that our children and staff face everyday in school buildings across Philadelphia.

These buildings are one of the ways the lack of fair and adequate state education funding impacts our district!  POWER’s Education Justice Team continues to fight for state funding that is fairly & equitably distributed to all schools and adequate to give all children a high quality education. #RingTheAlarm #PHLED
