Join us for a forum to unite around the need to protect low-income and Black and Brown Philadelphians from the immediate and long-term effects of climate change, while making utilities affordable. Together, we will discuss transforming our utilities and buildings so that all residents have clean and affordable energy. We will hear from organizers, community members, advocates, and others regarding this momentous task. The groups hosting this event are working together because the struggles to protect a livable climate, protect health, and eliminate poverty are intertwined. Join us to talk about how we can advocate for comprehensive home repairs and weatherization, a rapid shift to renewable energy, and a guarantee that all Philadelphia will have the energy they need at a rate they can afford.
