Toll the Bell Vigil Service & Sound Installation

June 7 @ 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm

POWER Interfaith’s Live Free campaign is proud to be a partner in “Toll the Bell,” a project focused on gun violence initiated by Penn Live Arts.

Toll the Bell Vigil Service: 12:30pm, Annenberg Center
Join us for an interfaith service featuring several speakers including Penn’s Rev. Charles (Chaz) Lattimore Howard, University Chaplain and Vice President for Social Equity & Community. Shortly after 1 PM, we will walk as a group to the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral.

Toll the Bell Sound Installation: 1pm
To honor our fellow citizens who have lost their lives and raise awareness for those working to have a positive impact in our city, on June 7, National Gun Violence Awareness Day, there will be a prolonged period of bell ringing and other community-driven sound making at 30+ locations across Philadelphia. While this installation is city-wide, we welcome you to gather with fellow Philadelphians at these anchor sites, both open to the general public as a place for reflection
