Public Utility Commission Hearing (In-Person)

April 18 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

POWER and its allies are pressuring PECO, the electric utility for the greater Philadelphia region, to choose an energy purchasing strategy that will increase affordable, renewable energy for our region. No more Business As Usual on a burning planet where dirty fossil fuel use hurts the most burdened people the most!

The Public Utility Commission is responsible for reviewing PECO’s proposed plan for how it will acquire its energy over the next four years. Public hearings will be held on April 16 (by phone) at 6 pm and on April 18 in person at 801 Market St., Phila PA at 1:00 pm.

POWER has a huge opportunity to have a voice NOW by showing up for these hearings to call for a pathway to affordable clean energy. Can you join one of the hearings? Can you tell the story of why you care about affordable, clean energy? Who else can you invite? Your presence matters, and you can have a voice too if you want to tell the story of why you care in a three minute testimony.

Please submit this form if you’re planning to attend and would consider testifying. Tara from the POWER Climate Justice and Jobs team will follow up with more details and support.
