“Doing the Work” Guided Community Conversation about Race and Racism

March 13, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This is a hybrid event with options both physical and virtual.

Where are you right now on matters of race and racism?

“Doing the Work” We all have the responsibility to take steps toward racial justice. The steps to develop that orientation requires a constant commitment to “do the work,” to do the awareness and consciousness work. It is an ongoing process. What are your current thoughts, responses, and actions about race and racism as of March 2022? Here is a chance to gather as Main Line communities to express and assess (or reassess) your thinking, ideas, and actions about issues of race and racism.

“Doing the Work” A Guided Community Conversation with Anita Friday and other POWER Main Line leaders. Anita Friday is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown University Law School and is an experienced workshop facilitator, lecturer, and consultant on the issues of race and racism.
