Education Apartheid Day of Action

On June 12 students, parents, community activists, and faith leaders from different traditions will converge on the steps of the State Capitol for POWER’s “Educational Apartheid” Day of Action┬áto demand equality for our children. We ask you to join us as we stand in solidarity with one another and continue demanding fair and fully funded education for Pennsylvania’s public school students. In addition to a large rally we will reinforce our demands by marching to legislative offices to ensure that our voices are heard.

We will have buses leaving for Harrisburg from many locations around the state. Join us as we unite to hold our legislators accountable, stand up and speak out!

For more information please contact the event’s lead organizer Nathan Sooy (nsooy@powerphiladelphia.org).
